FrontierVille Unreleased Red Animals, Feed a Child Box

FrontierVille appears to be lining up for some charity (most likely to help those in Haiti, as Zynga had a couple of fund raisers for the people there), and they are planning to release a series of red animals, plus a limited edition Feed a Child Box
Please note that the items listed below are unreleased in FrontierVille and may or may not see daylight in the game. Here are the new upcoming red animals
Red Deer
- Redder Squirrel
- Red Quail
- Red Ferret
- Red Rabbit
- Red Alpaca

All of these will probably be available from the purchase of the Feed a Child Box in FrontierVille, which is expected to cost 25 HS (but the price might change upon release) and most likely will be connected to charity. And it would be quite nice to see that happening in FrontierVille since it has a very large user base and I’m sure many of the gamers are willing to help.
If the unreleased FrontierVille Feed a Child box would be connected to charity, would you consider buying one to get a special item and at the same time help those in need?

FrontierVille Tailor Shop Building – Everything About It

As I told you in the previous posts, there is a new building in FrontierVille, the Tailor Shop (and it comes with its own series of missions too!). In this article, I am going to share with you all the details on the Tailor Shop building, so you already know what to expect of it once it’s unlocked.
First of all, you must be wondering how to get Tailor Shop in FrontierVille – it’s pretty simple, actually: all you have to do is to complete the Tailor Shop! mission and purchase the building from the market for 800 coins and 11 wood – as a requirement for the second mission in the series.
But that will not be it – you need to whack it first and then finish it using the indicated amount of materials:
- 5 Shingles
- 5 Mallets
- 5 Pegs
- 5 Windows
- 10 Measuring Tapes
- 10 Hangers

As always, if you don’t have any to spare, all the required building materials can be obtained by clicking the Ask Friends button.
After completing the Tailor Shop building, you can click it and select to go inside in order to purchase new outfits for your avatars. At the moment the clothes offered are limited, but I am sure that Zynga will add some new ones in the near future. Here are the outfits you can purchase in the Tailor Shop:
- Blue Cowboy (20 cloth, 2,000 coins)
- Red Cowboy (25 cloth, 3,500 coins)
- Black Outlaw (27 HS)
- Red Dress (32 HS)
- Blue Dress (15 cloth, 2,000 coins)
- Woman’s Pants (25 cloth, 3,500 coins)

Everything About the FrontierVille Tailor Shop Collection

As it always happens in FrontierVille, the launch of a new building (the Tailor Shop), comes with a new collection being released – the Tailor Shop Collection.
This time, the collection is made all out of buttons. Here are the items required to complete the Tailor Shop Collection in FrontierVille:
- Yellow button
- Red button
- Purple button
- Green button
- Blue button
After completing the Tailor Shop collection and trading it in, you will be rewarded with 3 cloth and 100 coins. All the items for this collection drop while collecting the daily bonus from the Tailor Shop.

FrontierVille Goal Guide: Finish the Farm Chores

I’m a bit late due to the weekend break, but it’s better later than never, right? Therefore, I am starting a complete guide to the Labor Day limited edition Back to School missions in Frontierville, and we’ll start with the first goal in the series, Finish the Farm Chores. Here’s the goal’s description:
“It’s time for some old fashioned book learnin’ now that summer is coming to an end. Just cuz the school bells are ringin’ doesn’t mean the chores aren’t your first priority.” In other words, here’s what you need to do in order to complete the Finish the Farm Chores goal:
- Harvest 10 Pumpkins
- Plant 10 Fruit Trees
- Sell 10 Adult Goats
It would be best, if you don’t have 15 apple trees on your homestead, to buy apple trees in order to facilitate the completion time of the next goal in the series. Also, if you don’t have enough goats to complete this goal, you should know that goats need multiple feeding to reach adult status. In other words, to get an adult goat you need to feed it 11 times in total. Good luck!
After finishing this FrontierVille mission you will receive as a reward 2,500 coins and 100 XP. Here are the images of the Finish the Farm Chores goal (before and after completion):

The FrontierVille Game Bar is here: Get free Horshoes for installing!

Want to know exactly when it's time to greet your friends on the homestead? Zynga just released the FrontierVille game bar for both Internet Explorer 7+ and Firefox 2 and up (sorry, Chrome fans, nothing for you just yet).

First things first, installing the game bar places an extra toolbar beneath your browser's address bar that will net you 20 free Horseshoes and an extra one daily for 15 days. Continue reading for a short guide on how to install the FrontierVille game bar on your browser and learn what other bonuses you'll receive.

Installing the FrontierVille game bar is pretty simple. Just go to this install page and you'll see an option to either log in usingInstall Prompt for the FrontierVille Game bar Facebook Connect or to simply install the game bar if you're already logged in.

Then you'll probably be asked by your browser to confirm that you want to install the add-on. Confirm it and you'll be prompted to restart your browser for the install to take effect.

Voila! You can now access FrontierVille right from your browser and get up-to-the-second updates on:

  • When your crops will be ready for harvest
  • You energy levels as well as free energy every eight hours
  • Instant updates on who is visiting your homestead

How to Get Soap in FrontierVille

Soap is a new item in FrontierVille and it is needed to complete the fourth Back to School Mission, Time for the Annual Pre-School Bath. In this article I will share with you all the details on the FrontierVille Soap, as well as tips on how to get more in an instant!
Being a quest-only item, you only need 10 FrontierVille Soap pieces and not more. There is just one way to get the soap without paying for it: ask your friends. In order to do so, simply click the green Ask Friends button and select the ones you want to send a message to, asking them to send you some soap. Make sure you choose the most active and friendly ones as you won’t have too many chances to ask for the soap before the goal expires!
Alternately, you can unlock this requirement from the goal’s menu by paying 15 HorseShoes (the price remains the same even if you have 0 or 9 Soap pieces).
Once you have the 10 Soap for the mission, you can complete it and completely forget that you had to go through such a pain for getting it!

How to level up fast on Frontierville on Facebook

To level up quickly, there are some tasks that work better than others. Clearing grass and farming are all things you should do - and will need to do - but there are some little tricks and tips to get moving up the ladder quicker. Follow some helpful hints and you can get way ahead of your friends in a hurry. It is important to follow the correct order so that you burn off as few of your resources as possible and get the best return on those which you do use.
Start out by taking care of clearing some grass. It is an easy task but will grab a few quick experience points. Next move on to your garden, Clear a couple ripe plots - but don’t re-plant them just yet. You need Food and energy - along with a few easy experience points built up -  to go snake clobbering. Snake clobbering is going to get you some serious goodies, the only problem is you need to clobber a snake 3 or 4 times to get the job done early on before it dies. To find snakes, clear skulls on your land - they hide in skulls. That means you need an energy refill which is why you need some food stockpiled. Don’t worry too much, once you kill the snake you will level up and get a full energy refill.

Once you get a full energy refill, go back and re-plant your crops. You will build up just enough experience points to level up again. Since you already harvested tomato’s to get ready for snake clobbering, go feed the baby chicks. Once you feed all three chicks you will finish a challenge (Feed 3 chicks and harvest three tomato plants) and have enough points to level up again along with some extra gold.

Nest you want to complete the “clear your land mission.” This is super simple, but they will make you re-accomplish a few things you did already. You have to clear one rock pile, 3 patches of grass, and chop down two trees. When you finish this, if you have done it right and chosen tress which only require 2 energy to chop down, you should be out of energy, but only about 5 experience points from leveling up. This is a good time to go to the bathroom or take care of things which require no energy while your energy meter replenishes. Why waste food when you are so close? Once you level up, complete the lost sheep mission, and then get into building your cabin.

Just continue rotating a mission with snake clobbering and before you know it you will pile up experience points and rewards so fast that levels are coming one on top of the other. The key is finding a quick balance between what the game tells you to do - which is designed to get you to feel like you need to buy energy refills - and what will let you build up levels fast so you don’t need to buy energy refills to keep playing.

Chopping wood will require more energy but give you greater rewards, and clearing grass and the such the least but they are an easy point or two to pick up. Just keep in mind that anytime you see a skull on your land it is a gift - just make sure you have plenty of energy before clearing it so you can actually clobber the snake to death. Keep just enough land for farming to have a steady food supply to refill energy, and above all else, like it or not, get your friends to become neighbors so you can grab the loads of free experience points being given away while Frontierville is in beta mode. They may not do that for long. Even without friends joining, in one day of average playing this plan can get you to level 13 without batting an eye - that is tested and true.

Tip for helping neighbors

Here’s a little tip from FrontierVille Post for those of you who want to help your neighbors out with the new goals.
Plant 5-10 of every type of crop so when they come visit there is always something for them that they need!
A bit more advanced:
What I’ve done is planted the fast crops that can be harder to find in red varmint areas. I intend to let them wither and just leave them there until I accept help from a neighbor, then plant some more if need be.
Crops for neighbors
A great idea for long term crops for varmint keepers:
I’ve also planted some long term crops in these areas as I wont have to deal with them for several days, then I can just move the crops or clobber the varmint to get them later.
If worse comes to worse and you can’t find the crops you need, try Jack’s homestead! He always has some ready and if you leave his place and come back, you can tend the same crop over and over. Just remember you only get 5 per day.
This works for plants and animals too, as neighbors will need to tend those for other goals.

A Beginners Guide

I've created this guide to give you some ideas for how to progress quickly as well as some basics for how to operate FrontierVille. My tips are merely suggestions based on my experience and you are welcome to explore and play the game at your own pace. I hope you benefit from my posts and look forward to answering questions and bringing you more useful information here and on the Facebook page in the future! (All these blue links take you to more content just like this page, click them for more information on that subject).

  • Do your quests in order and try not to click on other things while you're getting started.
  • Plant crops for lots of food for energy and coins for more crops.
  • Don't clear away your whole forest and grassy areas. You'll miss those areas later when you have varmint goals.
  • Visit neighbors and water their crops for more food and bonuses, this also makes the crops grow faster so you can progress sooner! Longer crops give you better bonuses upon harvest.
  • Collect the best bonuses from the feed. You get 30 per day, so make sure you're selective about what you need and take the best ones (ie. 50xp and 25 food or more for special quests).
  • Help your neighbors by sending them gifts and clicking on their feed requests (you get 50 feed helps per day). If you help them, they're more likely to send you stuff on your wishlist!
  • Plan ahead! Look at the goals that are coming up and maybe buy some animals or start asking for more building materials ahead of time.
  • Keep up with the updates and tips. I'll post the most helpful posts on this page, but be sure to like our facebook page for smaller updates and ideas about the game as it evolves. You can ask to add people and get supplies in the discussion tab.
  • You can also visit the official forum to see what people have asked and get help very quickly.

Frontierville Tricks and Tips

Like all games, there are ways to advance more quickly through Frontierville. Tips for faster success include:
  • Get hired by neighbors to complete tasks and earn more Frontierville coins
  • Hire people with higher experience levels. Players with a better reputation will earn more money for the landowner
  • Earn bonuses by defending land against snakes
  • Find snakes by looking under skulls, where they are likely to hide
  • Complete the missions and goals that are promoted within the Frontierville game. They come with bonuses attached for each mission completed
  • Hunting for snakes will help Frontierville players earn bonus items more quickly
  • Every action will use energy except for when planting crops
  • Get an energy boost by visiting neighbors
  • Plant trees often to ensure a constant supply of fruit for food or wood for building
Unlike the previously released Zynga games like Farmville and Mafia Wars, success in Frontierville requires players to take part in a brad range of activities. Players must interact with one another to achieve results, unlock crops and actions, or move ahead.
Further, Frontierville players are encouraged to check-in on their land at least daily, so that their property is not taken over by wild animals and plants. However, all these new features have some believing that Frontierville is just one more way to annoy Facebook friends.

Wishlist

  • A nice optional feature that you can use in the game is the "Wishlist" which can aid in completing difficult collections.
  • When you are in the Collection menu area look along the top of the screen where it says, "Wishlist"
  • As you scroll through all the collections in progress you will see items that you have are in the windows with the quantity listed at the bottom, and those you do not have are faded in the background.
  • There is a tiny piece of paper with a green "+" symbol at the bottom of each faded image.
  • If there is an item you really need for a collection click on this symbol and it will automatically be added to your wishlist along the top. (This is a toggle button so if you hit it by mistake just click again and it will move off of the list.)
  • TIP - If you have several collections that only need 1 item to complete those are the items you should put in your Wishlist.

Goals

  • Frontierville is centered around the goals it gives you to complete.
  • There will always be goals for you to work on which when completed unlock more fun things to do, rewards and more characters.
  • Goals are located along the left side of the game screen and 3 at a time will always be in progress.
  • Each person's game will be a little different depending on how fast they complete certain goals.
  • TIP - Do not purchase any buildings or large Equipment until you reach a goal that tells you to. This will save you a lot of money and stress down the line.
  • Click on the icon to see the goal name, what is needed, and your progress on that specific goal.
  • It is not known at this time how many goals are in the game but there is never a time without goals and it is expected more will be added frequently.
  • Rewards are given when a goal is completed and you can post a live feed message that will allow your Neighbors to have a bonus of either XP, energy, or Food as well.
  • NOTE - Some goals have many steps to them such as the "Get Married" goal. It may take quite a while to complete these goals so be sure you are making optimal use of your resources.
  • NOTE - If you are willing to pay real currency you can speed up completion of goals. There is usually always an option to purchase completed items to help you finish your goals.
  • TIP - There are useful hints written at the bottom of every goal menu. These are quite helpful and it is in your best interest to follow these hints at all times.

Ways to get More Energy when you run out

  • Gifts - Check your gifts for food sent by Neighbors.
  • Purchase Meals from the Market - Purchase more energy with the Food points you have earned. (Slices of cherry pie you earn while doing chores) You can spend 36 food points on 3 energy, 80 Food Points for 7 Energy, 165 for 15 Energy, 320 for 30 Energy and even higher amounts will unlock as you progress in the game. (These are the meals that you can purchase in the Market or have them gifted to you from friends.)
  • Scan the Live Feeds for Bonus Posts - There is likely to be bonus posts on the feeds. Remember, if you can't find a feed for energy points directly look for food, and XP as when you reach the next level your energy meter will be completely recharged.
  • Level Up - If you are close to reaching the next level hunt for XP bonuses on the live feed to put you over to the next level.
  • Visit/Help Neighbors - Visit or help your Neighbors if you haven't already and you will get a huge energy point boost.
  • Wait - Every 5 minutes you will have 1 energy point regenerated.
  • Complete Collections - Certain Collections will reward you with Energy points or full regeneration of your meter.
  • Hire a Neighbor to work for you - These Neighbors will usually produce extra energy for you.

Energy

  • Energy is critical as you will need it to tend to your chores around your and your Neighbor's Homesteads.
  • Most tasks deduct 1 Energy point to complete but some such as clobbering Snakes and bears take 2 each time.
  • You may have to click on items several times to complete a chore. For example to chop a tree you may have to click on it 2 to 4 times before it is totally chopped down. You will receive coins, XP and bonus wood for each chop.
  • The only task that does not deduct from your energy reserves is planting crops. Harvesting or pulling withered crops will cost 1 energy Point as well as all other chores around the Homestead.
  • The energy meter is located at the top center of the game screen.
  • You will start the game with a maximum of 10 energy.
  • Energy points regenerate at a rate of 1 point every 5 minutes up to your Maximum.
  • As you level up the maximum amount of energy you can hold is increased at intervals.
  • Food is energy! Gift food to your Neighbors and encourage them to do the same for you.
  • If you are doing chores on your Homestead and run out of energy you are at a standstill until you can get more. There are many ways to get more energy fast when you run out. (See below)
  • When you do chores you will see pieces of cherry pie occasionally. Click on these as they are food points that can be used to purchase larger meals for energy points.
  • You may also see a lightning bolt when you do chores. These represent actual energy points immediately credited to your account for use. (Very valuable)
  • Be sure to post any energy bonuses on the live feeds so your Neighbors will do so as well.
  • If you are careful you can continuously play the game without too much lag time.

XP

  • XP - (Experience Points) Are points that you earn for playing the game and performing specific activities while logged in.
  • When you perform a chore you will see coins and stars pop out that you are to click. You should see the XP add to your total at the top.
  • Note the XP meter which fills up as you complete a level and starts over when you begin a new one.
  • TIP - Be sure to click on "Bonus XP" messages when you see them in the live feeds. They will help you level up much faster.

Frontierville Currency/Types of Currency

  • There are two currency types in Frontierville and you can purchase either one if you are running low with your Paypal account or a major credit card or using Facebook Credits. You can also earn free currency by participating in
  • Horseshoes - This is the higher end currency that allows you to purchase items that serve an important function or have decorative value. You can also purchase items for collections with Horseshoes that you could not otherwise buy. When you start the game you will have 10 Horseshoes and you will earn 1 additional Horseshoe each time you level up.
  • NOTE - Horseshoes are needed to level up in some instances and can also unlock items early for you.
  • Gold Coins - Gold Coins are the primary currency and when you click on coins they will be added to your overall amount. TIP - Be sure to click on the live feed bonuses for additional coins.

Today's Weather

  • Today's Weather can be accessed by clicking on the tiny cloud to the left of your Name at the lower left corner shown circled in image above.
  • This is a daily bonus which (along with the weather of course) will tell you if you have won any bonuses for the day. It could be extra coins while harvesting, extra tools, or many other possible rewards.
  • Each person playing gets a different item as their bonus item.
  • Be sure to check this daily.

Getting Started

  • When you begin the game you will want to bookmark it and give Zynga your email address for all future announcements and bonuses. Follow the prompts at the top of the game screen.
  • The first thing you will be asked to do is design your game avatar. There are several outfits to choose from as well as hair styles and facial features. If you want to change your Avatar at a later date click on "Inventory" then on " Photo Album" then on the Avatar's picture.
  • NOTE - Later in the game when you have a spouse and children you will be able to change and customize their appearances here as well.
  • You will start the game with a large piece of land that is covered in trees, tall grass, rocks, thorns and Cacti.
  • You will be introduced to the game's host "Frontier Jack" who will give you a brief game tutorial. You can actually visit "Frontier Jack" just like any other Neighbor for coins and bonuses.
  • You start out with no coins but will quickly earn some as you work through the brief tutorial. You are given 10 Horseshoes (which is the game's special high end currency) and you will win one Horseshoe each time you advance a level in the game.
  • After you begin playing and feel comfortable Frontierville the next step is to invite as many Neighbors as possible with the
Invite Neighbors" button at the top or bottom of the game screen.
  • Click on the "Goals" which are listed to guide you in prioritizing your chores on the homestead.

Level Information

  • Each time you level up in Frontierville you are rewarded with your energy meter completely refilled, a Market item Unlocked, and 1 Horseshoe.
  • There are currently 50 levels but this will certainly increase in the future and this guide will be updated to reflect changes.
  • Each time you increase in level the total amount of energy you can have in an hour will increase by 1.
  • Goals will continue to become more advanced as you increase in level.

Game Strategies and Tips

  • Your best strategy to do well in Frontierville is to have as many Neighbors as possible. (See "Strategies to increase Neighbors" below)
  • You will earn many bonuses from Neighbors visiting you and you visiting them.
  • Many items require you to have a certain number of levels unlocked before you can use them.
  • Try to start out with at least 12 Neighbors which will unlock items for you to level 15.
  • TIP - As soon as you perform an action and your bonus coins and XP, and resource items appear click on them as fast as possible. There is a meter in the upper right hand corner of the game screen that gives you a 5 coin bonus every time you click on all the items before that meter fills up which is just a brief few seconds so be fast!
  • TIP - When you see a Frontierville post on the live feeds be sure to look directly under it for "Show "?" Similar Posts" and click on that link which will cause all available Frontierville Live Feed posts posted by your Neighbors to line up all at once. (This eliminates your having to hunt for them over several pages. (This works for any game on Facebook.) Now all you have to do is go down the line and collect all the bonus money, supplies and XP!
  • TIP - There are bonuses everywhere you look on the live feeds. Be sure to post these for your Neighbors and to search the live feeds for bonuses a few times a day if possible. Food bonuses are critical because without energy you can't do anything. If you are very low on energy check to see how close you are to reaching the next level. Clicking on several XP bonuses could cause you to level up which means a completely replenished energy meter. The game gives you several ways to solve problems. If you need energy you can wait until it regenerates, request it from friends, purchase it with horseshoes, or go to the live feeds and look for bonus offers.
  • TIP - You are allowed to gift 30 free gifts per day. Make it priority 1 to send every gift out that you can each day. If you have more than 30 Neighbors then rotate them. It is imperative that you send items so that others will send back to you. Keep a pen and paper handy and jot down what people really want. If you send them what they really need they are more likely to respond to you when you request items.
  • The most valuable gifts are FOOD (energy), Hammers, Nails, Hand Drills, Bricks and Paint. You need TONS of building supplies to complete things and it gets harder and harder as you go along. Anticipate several buildings as you level up.
  • Do NOT build any buildings until you are asked to in a quest. The game has a nice flow to it if you follow the quest list (top left corner) if you jump ahead and use energy and resources for items that aren't asked of you it will delay your ability to level up. Some quests require that you purchase a specific building to complete it.
  • TIP - Many people choose to gift ribbons (especially to higher level players) but it appears they aren't needed as much as it seems. You will need about 12 Ribbons for the school Marm and after you get Married you will not need ribbons until it is time for your child's first birthday. Focus on sending energy to players as overall this will give them the most benefit.
  • EXCELLENT TIP -Varmints do NOT move! Since you can move things, move crops away from varmints when they appear. For example when a groundhog is trying to get at your crop move it away from him and do not do anything to the groundhog until you are finished harvesting for the challenge. Only ONE varmint at a time can appear in the game. If you just leave him alone, you can get a lot of work done while not having to worry if more are going to appear. They earn you a lot of bonus coins but they also use up a ton of your energy. The area affected by a varmint is 2 squares in all directions. (See "Varmints"for more information.)
  • IMPORTANT TIP - When you do an activity and the coins, XP stars, and the occasional collection item pops out it is critical that you click on the collection item to get credit for it. You actually do not have to click on any of these items when they pop up (Some players may like to just leave them to fade) but take note that if you do click on them quickly before the bonus meter at the top right of the screen fills up you will be given a coin bonus. If you leave the items on the ground they will eventually fade away, but you WILL get credit for them. If a collection item fades away because you did not click on it, you will NOT get credit for it. So be sure to click on all items right away and you will end up with more money overall and your collection items will not be lost.
  • TIP - If you lose a family member, you can summons them with the dinner bell/triangle or you can click on their icon to "Custom" in the family album. This makes them the active avatar. Then you can move them. However, they will go back to the LAST task they did when you reload. So if you want them moved, you had better give them something to do.
  • TIP - If a varmint is stuck behind something or if you can't see it, try zooming your playing field and SLOWLY moving your cursor to the area to see if you can maybe get to it. Sometimes you get lucky and can find a tiny spot where you can get to the varmint without having to pay double to chop down a tree to get at it.
  • IMPORTANT TIP - Do NOT cut or clear your Neighbor's Cacti or Thorns!!! If they have not completed the challenge where those are involved you are going to have some very unhappy Neighbors when they realize they NEED them. The same applies to you as a player. Do NOT cut down your thorns or Cacti until AFTER you complete the challenge that calls for clearing them. Cacti and Thorns will grow back but it takes a very long time and will hold up your game significantly. You could purchase them with Horseshoes but if you can use this tip to avoid cutting them in the first place you will have saved yourself a lot of frustration!
  • TIP - Take advantage of the "begging" post for building supplies. When you finish whacking the frame, if you click on the building it shows you what you need. You can ask twice a day for ANY building supply while you are actively working on a building.
  • TIP - Help your neighbors by sending them building supplies or energy from the "begging posts". Those are the orange ones for supplies or the one with the lightning bolt saying you have run out of energy. You get 50 of these a day. They do NOT count as part of your 30 gifts you can accept. Those are a separate stream of gifts.
  • TIP - Higher level players may have small uncleared areas on their frontier. Chances are they WANT those areas so leave them alone. Normally there are crops you can water, fruit you can collect, critters you can feed so there is plenty you can get done when you go visiting. If you see withered crops, those are helpful to tend because unless you have an "Unwither crops" in your inventory, you personally can't do anything but clear them.
  • TIP -Once you have a spouse and/or Children you can assign any of them to be the active Avatar and they will be the one to do the chores. To change to a different active avatar click on "My Stuff" in the lower right corner menu then on "Family Album" click on the character you wish to do the work and you should see the silver star appear above their head to indicate the change was successful.
  • TIP - Do NOT let your crops wither if at all possible. Not only will you lose the money you invested in the crop and the profit, you will have to spend valuable energy removing the withered plants from the land unless you have Neighbors that are kind enough to revive them for you. Once revived they will wilt again once the allotted time has passed so check back frequently.
  • When Clobbering Varmints to get them to leave the Homestead watch carefully for items in the Snake, Bear, Fox and Groundhog collections as this is the only time you will have a chance to collect them. If you do not click on the item you will lose it. (This does not apply to coins, XP, and Food Points as if they fade away you still get credit for them.)
  • When Varmints are next to items (Red Area) those areas will grow or produce at a much slower rate than normal so be sure to get that Varmint out as fast as you can.
  • TIP - Make sure that you do NOT clear out all the skulls, Large Trees, Cacti, or Wildflowers all at once from the land. Various challenges will require you to have these items and while they do grow back it takes several days for these items to become full grown. You are better off leaving a few of each item on the land.
  • Once you have at least 20 neighbors (and a least an hour of free time) visit all of them and after you are finished immediately purchase a building. You will have enough energy to build it all at once. NOTE - When you finish clicking on the building the required number of times (whacking the building) you will see a menu requiring you to have a certain number of items in your inventory such as bricks, tools, cans of paint, etc. You will have to collect these as gifts from Neighbors. Once you have all needed items you click on the structure and when the menu appears click on "Finish" this is how you complete buildings in Frontierville. Make sure you always accept gifts such as brick, paint, tools because you will need them eventually.

Game Elements

Any active goal will be shown in this area and all you have to do is click on the icon to see your progress or if you need to refresh your memory as to what you need to meet the goal. At the bottom of the icons you will see two gift boxes. One is to show you the gifts you have received and one is to send free gifts to your Neighbors.

Game Introduction

This walkthrough includes a quick start guide, tips and tricks, hints, and advanced strategies to help you tame the frontier in FrontierVille.
